Welcome to SignTogether. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or services. By creating a card, contributing a message, or otherwise accessing our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
SignTogether operates the website at signtogether.co and provides a collaborative digital greeting card platform. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms mean SignTogether. References to "you" or "your" mean any individual accessing or using our services, whether as a registered user or a guest contributor.
Our core service allows a card creator to start a shared digital card, share a unique link with contributors who add messages, and present the completed card to a recipient with a reveal moment.
Creating an account is required to create and manage cards. You may register using an email address and password or via a supported social login provider. By registering you confirm that:
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account before you report it to us.
Adding a message to a card does not require an account. Anyone with a valid card link may contribute a message to that card as a guest.
Card links are not publicly listed or searchable on SignTogether — access relies on the card creator sharing the link. You are responsible for sharing your card link only with people you intend to have access.
By submitting a message as a guest contributor you agree to these Terms in full, including the acceptable use requirements in Section 6.
You retain ownership of any content you create on SignTogether, including card titles, messages, and any media you submit.
By submitting content to our platform, you grant SignTogether a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the service — for example, to display your message to other contributors and to the card recipient during the reveal. This licence ends when the card is deleted.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You represent and warrant that:
As a card creator you are responsible for how the card link is distributed and who is invited to contribute. You agree to:
You acknowledge that once a card link has been shared it may be forwarded to people you did not originally intend to receive it. We recommend closing a card (preventing new contributions) once you are ready to present it.
You agree to use our services only for their intended purpose — creating and contributing to shared digital greeting cards. You must not use our services:
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate access — including without notice — where we believe a serious or ongoing breach is occurring.
We do not proactively review all content submitted to cards. However, we reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate any account or card if we determine, at our sole discretion, that it violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
If you believe content on our platform violates these Terms or applicable law, please contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action.
We are not liable for any user-generated content posted by card creators, contributors, or other third parties.
All software, design, branding, and non-user-generated content on this website is the property of SignTogether or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform or content without our prior written consent.
The SignTogether name, logo, and associated marks are the property of SignTogether. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.
Our platform relies on third-party providers including cloud hosting and email delivery services. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.
If you register or log in via a social login provider, your use of that provider is governed by its own terms of service.
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
We recommend downloading or printing any card you wish to keep as a permanent record, as we cannot guarantee indefinite storage of card content.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SignTogether and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of content, or emotional distress — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or business practices. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using our services and delete your account.
If you have any questions about these Terms or wish to report a concern about content on our platform, please email us at hello@signtogether.co. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 business days.
